PennCORP 2026: Building Community, Year After Year

We are celebrating another successful PennCORP! This year’s theme, “From Reciprocal Care to Collective Action,” guided students through community partner site visits, interactive social justice workshops, and thoughtful dialogue on the social issues affecting the Philadelphia community. Along the way, students built meaningful relationships with one another that will carry into their time at Penn.

For Jeremiah Braimoh, moving from participant (CORPie) to Student Leader brought the experience full circle: “It showed me that Civic House is truly a family, one that grows bigger and stronger with each passing year.”

Daniel Katz, now in his second year as a student leader, sees PennCORP as a moment of reflection for the whole community: “PennCORP is such a special time because it gives incoming first years time to transition and develop connections, and gives space for everyone involved (CORPies, student leadership, and staff), to reflect on who we are and what it means to be in community with each other.”
