Shehroz Malik

Shehroz is a sophomore in the School of Liberal and Professional Studies (LPS) majoring Political Science. He is originally from Pakistan but grew up in New Jersey.

Through service as a Combat Medic in the Army, Shehroz had the opportunity to connect with people from all over the United States & world. These experiences helped appreciate the importance of diversity and inclusion for not only personal growth, but also for organizational success.

In his free time, he likes to lay in parks all day, over analyze movies + music, and wear socks + sandals while out and about claiming its “fashion.”

Kara Cloud

Kara is a junior from Bridgeport, CT majoring in Psychology and Philosophy. She is super excited to be leading a PAB trip! If you’re (un)lucky enough to have her as your site leader you can look forward to her sharing twitter memes at random times and fangirling over Bernie Sanders, and singing songs she doesn’t know the words to. She is also really passionate about income inequality, Black lives matter, and paying way too much for coffee.

Pinar Goktas

Pinar is a sophomore in the College studying philosophy. Last year, she took as ASB to Austin, TX to learn about worker exploitation in Texas’s immigrant community. She found both the service experience and the community of like-minded people so fulfilling she decided to return to PAB as a site leader to recreate her experience for others. Her favorite fun fact to use for awkward icebreakers is that her name auto-corrects to pinata. Additionally, she met a woman who runs a small business hand-making papier-mâché pinatas during her ASB.
