Sharing Our Story is an avenue to collect and disseminate narratives based on the experiences of Civic House’s diverse and far reaching body of students, alumni, and community partners that aims to celebrate the members that make up our unique community, generate awareness of Civic House programming, and highlight the ways that Civic House has positively attributed to the development and growth of students who dedicate themselves as lifelong citizens to society.

In lieu of present day issues, which affect everyone’s lives in varying degrees, Sharing Our Story is a place where readers can pause and reflect on the true power that exists when there are both individual and collective efforts to listen to and support those most marginalized and disenfranchised in our society. We hope that our stories can also be a source of inspiration for readers to begin or continue serving within their own communities in responsible and insightful ways.

Links to these stories will be shared across our social media platforms, so be sure to follow Civic House on Facebook and Instagram to stay up-to-date on the latest Sharing Our Story features.
